4 NIGHTS 5 DAYS (NOVEMBER 14 / NOVEMBER 18)
2 NIGHTS CASABLANCA 2 NIGHTS MARRAKECH
Day 1: Istanbul > Casablanca >
Istanbul-Casablanca Flight. Arrival at Casablanca Airport and welcome.
Historical Casablanca City tour, United Nations Square, Hassan II Mosque, Grand Market, Habous Square and Market, Corniche (Corniche Boulevard). Check into the hotel and free time.
Day 2: Casablanca > Rabat > Casablanca
After breakfast, we depart for the capital, RABAT. Following a panoramic city tour, we will visit Hassan II Tower and the Mausoleum of Hassan II (Father of the current King). Next, we will take a walk in the historic Udaya Fortress...
After a traditional mint tea break at the fortress, located at the mouth of the Bouregreg River overlooking the city of Sale, we will see the district in the city center where the Parliament Building, important institutions and embassies are located, and then return to Casablanca.
Day Three: Casablanca > Marrakech
We will go to Marrakech early in the morning. After arriving in the city, we will visit the historic Medina.
The Koutoubia Mosque, Ben Yusuf Madrasa, and Behiye Palace will be waiting for us.
Our day will continue in the narrow alleys of the Marrakech covered market, called the SOUK. We will explore the traditional corners of this world-famous labyrinth. During this tour, you can encounter all the examples of the many handicrafts available in the country, such as weavers, blacksmiths, and woodworkers. The Herborist, where medicinal herbs and creams are sold, a centuries-old tradition of the Berbers, will be one of the stops that will impress you.
In the evening, we will visit the Great Square. This square, which we can truly call a "Courtyard of Miracles," is on the UNESCO National Heritage List. Jma el Fna (Square of the Apocalypse), enlivened by storytellers, snake charmers, tattoo artists, jugglers, and acrobats, can be briefly described as an "Open-Air Theatre." You will have the opportunity to shop in the afternoon.
Day Four > Marrakech > Essaouira > Marrakech
We are going to Essaouira, the old Portuguese city located on the Atlantic coast. As we move away from Marrakech, we will see the rare Argan trees. Declared a "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Morocco, the city is a coastal city on the vast Atlantic Ocean, a fishing port where art and culture intertwine. We will visit the city's fortress and fishing port, and explore its medina, built adapting from ancient Roman cities. The Medina's narrow, labyrinthine streets, whitewashed houses, and blue-painted doors and windows have inspired many European painters, poets, and writers. Artists who chose a bohemian lifestyle, such as Orson Welles and Jimmy Hendrix, lived in the city's historic Medina (walled city). Watching the foamy waves of the Atlantic Ocean from the historic walls, built by a European architect in the 18th century, is mesmerizing (as seen in the film Ladies and Gentlemen with Jeremy Irons and Patricia Kaas). The miles-long sandy beach hosts international surfing competitions every year. Shopping in the vibrant and historic market is delightful, with its carpets, local woodwork, leather goods, and colorful paintings.
Day 5 > Marrakech > Casablanca Airport.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport and flight to Istanbul.
